• Jojoba Oil - this "oil" is technically a liquid plant wax and is often used to soothe dry, chapped skin.
• Grass-fed beef tallow is a great moisturizer as it closely resembles the skin's cell structure, helping to retain the skin's natural moisture barriers.
• Beeswax - acts as a humectant, helping the skin attract and retain moisture. We are obsessed with the sweet-smelling, cappings wax from our friends at Gull Lake Honey. Beeswax helps protect skin, and seals in moisture.
• Dandelion Flowers- contain skin soothing properties and can be used to calm even the most sensitive skin. Rich in minerals and vitamins, dandelion flowers enhance skin hydration
• Nettle Leaf- Stinging Nettle is best known for its hair like projections that "sting." But once nettle is dried, the hair like projections no longer sting and nettle can be utilized for its many benefits. Nettle has many minerals, vitamins and is high in polyphenols. Topically, this plant botanical has shown to have anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing benefits.
