This combo of lavender and chamomile flowers slow-infused in Grass-Fed Alberta Beef Tallow makes for a soothing body balm that can be used from head to toe. The Betty is perfect for adding moisture fresh out of the shower; it's especially lovely for little ones (or anyone!) before bed.

The Betty is our handcrafted tallow body balm made with Grass-Fed Alberta Beef Tallow infused with both Organic Lavender Flowers and Organic Chamomile Flowers, and combined with Cold-Pressed, Unrefined Jojoba Oil.

How We Use: The Betty makes for a great face and body balm. A beautiful way to restore moisture to your skin after washing and the calming, light scent is a nice way to end the day.

• Grass-fed Alberta beef tallow Tallow is the perfect moisturizer as it closely resembles the skin's cell structure, helping to retain the skin's natural moisture barriers.

• Lavender promotes relaxation of both the body and the mind. Lavender also contains antioxidants that nourish the skin.

• Chamomile has been shown to soothe inflamed skin and may help with redness, dryness and irritation.

• Jojoba Oil - this "oil" is technically a liquid plant wax and is often used to soothe dry, chapped skin.

    Baby soft skin

    I LOVE this product. It’s not strongly fragrant which is perfect for everyday use. I used this on my face last night and woke up with the most baby soft skin ever. I’m a lover of skin care products and if you name it, I’ve probably tried it but this was my first tallow product from a small local farm that aligns with my personal values. But I can say confidently this is one of my top products ever used. Apart from my face, my hands needed some TLC. Being a nurse, my hands take a daily beating so I require a moisturizer that works well to maintain skin integrity. I found it! Thank you so much 78 acre woods, I will be repurchasing.

    Amazing!

    My 7mo suffers from eczema, and we tried every cream out there. Our last resort was a steroid cream prescribed. I wasn’t a huge fan of using such a strong cream on him, so I had ordered the tallow ointment to try after seeing the benefits of tallow every where on social media. I’m so glad I took a chance!! His rashes cleared up and his skin is so soft! Everyone who holds him compliments how soft his skin is. I’m so thankful for this stuff.

    Dry/cracked skin be gone!

    I have horribly dry and cracked skin (thanks to the dry and cold alberta winters) and have tried a lot of lotions that never help. I wanted something natural and not full of unnecessary ingredients…Well I found it!
    It smells lovely, a little goes along way and it’s made local to me which makes it even better! Will be buying again!!
