• Rosehip Oil - rich in fatty acids which help strengthen the skin barrier and lock in moisture. An emollient, rosehip oil softens & moisturizes. Rosehip oil contains antioxidants, which help reduce damage from free radicals on the skin.
• Grass-fed Beef Tallow is a great moisturizer as it closely resembles the skin's cell structure, helping to retain the skin's natural moisture barriers.
• Beeswax - sweet smelling, cappings wax is added, from our friends at Gull Lake Honey. Beeswax helps protect skin, and seals in moisture.
• Chickweed - this “weed” is actually an edible medicinal herb with rich mineral content. For skincare, it is often used to soothe sore skin.
• Plantain - has been used for centuries as a wound-healer by chewing up the leaves and making a poultice to put on bites or stings. Its uses are diverse and we love it for its varied applications.
• Comfrey - like plantain, comfrey contains allantoin, which has been shown to aid in bone and skin healing, which is why comfrey is often used in salves, oils and poultices for broken bones, cuts and rashes.
